The Beaches Guestrooms and Cottages

This is one of the worst places we have ever stayed. The pictures are very deceiving! The grass inside the pool area was so high you could not sit in the chairs. It was hard to even enjoy sitting outside at the picnic tables due to the tall grass…. Now on to the worst part. The fitted sheets on our bed would not stay up so we pulled the covers back to pull it up tighter. Upon doing so we found what looked like fresh dried urine stains all over the mattress cover along with blood stains. It was disgusting. We had the manager come down to look at it and her only comment was “I’m sorry, I’ll talk to her”.

Sparkling clean, comfortable, convenient, staff was very helpful. This is a one-star lodging. Stars refer to amenities. Essential amenities are there. Don’t be confused — a lodging with 1 star for amenities can still get a 5 rating for being a great place to stay. Recently renovated, it has a clean, no-frills elegance to it. Fiercely effective AC!

The staff was VERY friendly and very personable

The pool wasnt open, shower pressure was barely there. Fridge wasnt plugged in when I got there so it took hours to get cold, I wasnt even sure it worked. Air conditioner wasnt on so it was at least 80+ in there. Door was broken. The chair lock was only half there. The coffee supplies were already open

Excellent stay. Clean. Good location. Perfect for our granddaughter’s family with two great-grandsons. It was convenient to the beaches which were the highlight for two little boys. We all agree that this is a good place for a vacation. Will book again.

Location good. Cabin adequate. Good for the weekend stay. Good space traveling with dogs.

Screen doors slam hard. Neighbors was in and out all night slamming the screen door.

We really enjoyed our stay. The motel is small, quiet and clean with a nice pool. Liza was very helpful in making recommendations for local places to eat.

Convince, communication, quiet and easy to adjust

Great customer service, extremely friendly and easy to book a stay with! The cottage is perfect for a quick getaway with a dog. Little outdated, but still in good shape! The only note to provide is they need to do a better upkeep with the lawn/landscape.
