Secret Garden Resort & Villas Panglao Island

Great resort with very friendly staff. Far away from street noise. Very realxing. Room was nice and clean. Great swimming pool. The staff helped us with everything we needed. Nothing was problem.

Bei so einem Luxuriösen Resort, sollte das WLAN auf den Zimmer funktionieren und nicht nur im Poolbereich. Es hängen die neuesten und größten Fernseher im Zimmer die durch das nicht funktionierenden WLAN auf den Zimmern überhaupt nicht in Gebrauch genommen werden können. Also lieber an den Fernsehern sparen und mehr in das WLAN investieren, dann ist das Resort auf einem guten Weg

It’s a nice modern property with a lovely pool and comfortable room.

The breakfast was good but the meals served in the restaurant at night were poor quality and not worth the money. We think they were actually frozen meals reheated. And the meal was served with cold fries. We sent it back to the kitchen.

- rooms were very very clean - beds incredibly comfy - pool super clean - staff is the nicest I have ever experienced - breakfast 10/10 with option for cappuccino etc with natural milk

- not a complaint, rather an observation: no electrical socket in the bathroom wall so had to dry my hair in the room but there was no mirror so it was in the TV

The hotel is beautiful, everything was perfect. Special thanks to William who made our stay wonderful

This is an edit. My first stay was great, but my second booking was cancelled because of a typhoon which stopped all boats from Cebu to Bohol. No refund was offered, no offer to reschedule, no 50%, no voucher for future bookings. I was ignored by the resort for over 24 hours, so i tried to have booking.com intervene. I was advised by booking.com to contact them directly as they were also ignoring their request. It seems like they will ignore problems in a hope they will go away, and refuse a refund if the weather cancels ALL boats to and from Bohol. Honestly its a great stay. Super quiet, large grounds and comfortable beds. Its far enough away from the popular areas that you get peace and quiet when you want it, but close enough that its not a hassle to get anywhere. The pool is great and the staff are super accomodating. Would recommend /10

The lack of consideration for typhoons, which are very common in Philippines. If all boats are cancelled to and from Bohol, you will not get your money back. You wont get a reschedule, you wont get a voucher or discount for a future booking. They will take your money and ignore you.
