Donna Coraly Country Boutique Hotel

This is a gorgeous country estate type stay, which is peaceful and unique. We found it great value for money, especially given you have two beautiful and pristine swimming pools in huge grounds. Our stay added a different dimension to our Sicily holiday, which was mainly focused on the larger tourist areas. Highly recommended for a night or two.

There weren’t many food options or coffee when we arrived mid afternoon (and there are no other food outlets in the vicinity if you don’t have a car). But the breakfast and dinner were fabulous!

The location is really good but spoiled by the poor taste level of the newly built structure. Good breakfast too.

Awful experience in this hotel. Maybe the worst I have ever had. On my first night there, I brutally woke up at 2:30am with an unbearable pain in the back of my leg. To find out I got bitten by a 4-inch centipede in my bed. No one during the night was there to really support - only a night agent that only spoke Italian. I begged to call a doctor. He refused saying "it happens in the country side". I managed to change rooms for the night (a smaller room, temporarily). The pain lasted for 10 hrs, I couldn't sleep all night (the larger the centipede is the more venom it shoots, being able to cause serious damage). Next morning I had to interact with another employee who promised me to give me another room. That could not get ready before I left the hotel at 10:30am. I confirmed I would move when I was back later that day. I didn't hear from anyone from the hotel all day except via an email from the Mger accusing me of "abuse of property" because I didn't stay to move my belongings. Not only they didn't provide any help when I was in pain, didn't check on me the next day... but they dared ask me to pay for both rooms! I am still trying to get a refund for the 1st night - which they declined. Pictures of the centipede, the bite and the email from the Mger attached.

Breakfast was a little poor with very few varieties Could improve more already spoke with personal, About this issue, but other wise all good couldn’t be better Especially the restaurant La Zaituna it’s out of the way And the waiter was doing his atmost to please us.i have to Thank him from the bottom of my heart.

I liked every will revisit next year.

Our daughter's family, my husband and myself had the pleasure to stay at Donna Coraly for 4 nights in mid August. We immediately felt welcomed by Cinzia, Christina and another gentleman who's name escapes me. Our rooms were bright, clean and comfortable. The decor was modern and tasteful. I can tell you the air conditioning was a welcomed presence as it was quite hot outside. Our granddaughter is a "little fish". We all found the larger pool to our liking and used it each day we were there. Lovely olive trees provided shade while we sipped on Aperol cocktails. The pool and surrounding areas were kept pristine and there were always fresh towels on the lounge chairs. The breakfast was plentiful and beautifully displayed. I can still taste those lovely fresh peaches and good strong coffee. We were always cheerfully greeted and attended to by the lovely Chiara who remembered our favorites especially our granddaughters love of hot chocolate and blood orange juice. Chiara is truly a gem and we hope her efforts are recognized. I do wish we had been given a tour of the grounds as there were several old buildings that must have historical significance. All said, this Inn provided a lovely starting point of our two week stay in Sicily.

There could be more food variety at the Orangerie.
