Drury Holidays at Tattershall Lakes

The accommodation (once we worked out where we were!) was very close to the main entertainment area. Hosts responded to booking questions very quickly during booking period. Hosts provided lots of kitchenware, so you could enjoy a home from home experience if you wanted that. Property was clean. Two toilets an added bonus for family.

Not really the fault of the accommodation host but it would have been good to have the heads up re activities and the need for booking in advance. Lots of things already booked when we arrived, we worked out you could check for spaces for swimming and they could often accommodate. The business model of needing to buy a daily “entertainment pass” for each member in the party left a bit of a bad taste in the mouth and adds to cost of the stay - be nice if this was reflected in guest/member prices for food and drinks and additional activities but sadly this was definitely not the case $$$. £40 for a family round of crazy golf and £4 for a bottle of coke to give just a few examples. The host needed to arrange the purchase of the pass, but this was hassle free.

The caravan was lovely, hot tub beautiful and a super comfy bed. Living room was excellent too. Great shower

The freezer has lots of mould and the kitchen could do with a few extra cleaning bits like tea towels and a plug for the sink. Also there was no towels for the hot tub. Could just do with a little more of a deep clean

Had a fantastic stay in a lovely house with a hot tub. The cleanliness was impeccable, and having everything we needed made the experience even more enjoyable. Highly recommended!

It was spacious including the Bedroom & the lounge area.

There was no toilet brushes in both bathrooms & no towels including hand towels.

We have visited tattershall 9 times in other accomodations and always had a amazing time!

Decking filthy. Hot tub 22°c when arrived at 4.30pm, underfilled and left to sort it. Walked into caravan to pool of water by freezer and slipped over. Owner sometimes replies but very much left to sort any issues myself! Friend came over and seemed she knew more about hot tub without even looking in it! Was trying to make us feel bad and uncomfortable about our stay/prices. Alarm was beeping and when messaged owner on 3 occasions I was left to deal with it and told to take batteries out of something that you cannot take batteries out of. So the last night had barely any sleep because it went off every 2-3 minutes.

Very well looked after and clean.

This is nothing to do with property but I think having to buy passes to go in arcades/bars is a rip off.

The property was good especially the balcony and 2 toilets. Outside was really nice. Beautiful view from inside too. It was nice. Neighbours were all good.

There was no duvets left out for 2 guests. We were 6 guests only 2 single and 1 king was there. Same with pillows 2 for the big bed and 2 for singles. No one told us how to open the sofa bed as we didn’t know when I txt the owner replied rudely. The worse thing was I paid £194 for the pass we asked before paying what is included, the person who I spoke to gave me wrong information that you can use tue pools since morning 8 till night 10 all day when ever you want to. They said there is a lot more for kids to do inside play area’s etc so I thought this is a good bargain if that many stuff is included will worth my stay and my kids gona love it too. But unfortunately when we went there in the club house there was nothing included apart from the pools . And even for the pools when we took our kids they asked us have you booked it . We told them no we haven’t because we were been told that you can go anytime but nothing was like that we had to book 21 days before starting holidays which is another pain. I paid £194 only for the pool then And was only allowed to take mu kids if spaces were available. So we had to go on the reception ask them we only managed going twice in the out door pool and once in the in door pool. We were only allowed in the aqua splash bit kids can’t do much there cuz it’s only a splash area. So I just kind of wasted my money. I had to travel another hour to Skegness from there just for my kids because they had nothing to do in the club house . And we had to book 21 days before . So we weren’t very happy. Took the kids all the way to Skegness beach that was lovely again paid over £100 but that was worth able . If we had the correct information here we did not had to pay £194 we could just get the accommodation and travel from there. Plus the picture of the caravan where we stayed was sent wrong that had washing machine as-well but the one we stayed in had no washing machine. So yeah these bits were very disappointing.
