Very new, cosy and comfortable.

We didn't mind the train. But this could be a problem for some.

"A Splendid Holiday"

10.0

A beautiful view and quaint, charming accommodation. It was superb and without fault, a truly lovely location nestled amidst the Highlands.

Again, it was without fault, and everything was brilliant.

Really nice cottage with beautiful views and contact for the property was helpful

Just more for awareness- during our stay there were a few occasions of hornets in the kitchen. They seemed to keep coming back in even though we didn't have windows/doors open and it was just in the kitchen area. Not the hosts fault and obviously can't control hornets but unsure if there's a nest nearby?

"Absolutely wonderful"

10.0

This little cottage is full of charm and character. Magnificent views of the sea, a short walk will take you there via the back gate. It is cosy and welcoming, an information pack tells you the story of the house and there is even a photo of the couple who lived there. A modern kitchen looks out onto the little courtyard where we sat in the evening with a bottle of wine. Our hosts were friendly and helpful. This was one of the best holidays of my life and I shall never forget it….

"We will definitely be back."

9.0

The cottage was beautiful - sympathetically restored and full of character. Location was perfect for us, with our daughter living over the road. The Clachnaharry Inn is a fantastic old-style pub.

We felt that the kitchen could have been a lot better equipped. For example, no wooden spoons - despite having good non- stick pans. No hand towel and only one dish towel. Great appliances, however....

"Bolt hole close to Inverness."

10.0

Lovely house with view over the Caledonian Canal to Moray Firth. Warm and cosy with great outdoor space. Just outside Inverness but within easy reach of facilities. Cherry a really welcoming and caring host.

Could have had a few more utensils for folk cooking in the excellent kitchen. Sofa not the most comfy. A chair would have been handy in the bedroom and a table light in the lounge for improved lighting options. Still fabulous accommodation without these though.

"Home away from home"

10.0

The property was very clean and well decorated. The photos do not do it justice as it was twice as nice in person. It is also a decently sized property and did not feel cramped at all. It is also very close to the centre of Inverness. Even though there is no dedicated parking the hosts had a very informative folder of where one could park a vehicle. We ended up parking on the other side of the tracks and found it was a very short walk to the beautiful cottage. There was an array of snacks waiting for us such as fudge, shortbread and very tasty coffee. I have been to Inverness a few times, but this has become my number one go to spot
