The shades over the windows were really upgraded and nice to use. The new carpet was soft to walk on. The room was very large and comfortable. It was very clean. We played a few of your games and loved the large common area.

I did not like that we could not control the temperature of our room. It was too warm even with the fan provided but it was very hot outside. Otherwise, nice stay.

"A lovely inn in a peaceful, and historical setting."

A welcoming host, sparkling clean rooms, lovely setting and comfortable beds!

We all felt the breakfast a bit weak. Just French toast with a small amount of fruit, and juice. An option of cereal, perhaps some yogurt, or a hard boiled egg would have enhanced the meal. Additional tea and coffee downstairs would have been appreciated.

"Quiet, convenient, comfortable, and unique stay!"

Such a unique place! We stayed in the comfortable and roomy Mingo Mountain Suite with a view to the southwest of huge trees and mountains. A bench outside provides a spot to soak it all in including the birds. A bird book and binoculars are even provided to identify the feathered creatures. To stretch our legs, we wandered around the large, quiet property. Located conveniently right on highway 2. Delightful!

"Unfussy spot, clean B&B, with nice breakfast. Hospitable hosts."

Wonderful location and welcoming hosts! There aren’t many hotel options in the area, so we chose this B&B while working on a field project nearby. Overall, the estate has a lot of potential -- the grounds, stream access, and historic site were all great to explore. The hosts were friendly and made us feel right at home.

Bed was uncomfortable, overall though the stay was nice. We pref. firm beds and these where very soft and springs seemed old. Could use an upgrade.

Old historical property in rural area. Recommended TJ chicken dinner and was right on.

Grounds could use some love . A large property to maintain but is very beautiful.
