Private garden apartment with secure parking

Excellent valve, welcomed with milk biscuits etc, nice touch 👌 Would go back.

Could do with a bit of finishing off here and there however everything you need and spotless £20 a bit heavy for a sausage dog for one night.

This is a beautifully appointed apartment, clean, spacious, and really toasty on a col day in December. Secure garden area for my fur baby and plenty of areas to walk him close by. The bed was super comfy, as was the sofa. The kitchen is well equipped for self-catering or just serving up a take away. We will definitely be returning.

There is nothing to dislike.

We booked for 1 night but unfortunately we were unable to stay in the apartment. I messaged the host before arrival as previous reviews mentioned mould, damp and a bad smell. I have asthma so was concerned. The host replied “in my opinion it’s not damp or cold” Attached photos confirmed previous bad reviews and our experience on entering the apartment. We walked in then straight back out and found alternative accommodation for the night. The apartment smells of damp and is covered in mould. I have requested a refund due to us having to pay for alternative accommodation to which the host replied that we never even turned up due to Storm Bert. I have waited to leave a review as wanted to try and resolve this amicably as I know leaving a bad review can effect a small business However after sending serval messages on booking.com and messaging privately I have only received one response and NO refund has been offered.
