Valletta Waterfront Backyard Flat by Arco Collection

The recent remodel of this apartment was well done, and the furniture and fixtures are new and decent quality.

The water had a very high mineral content and an unpleasant taste. The owner instructed us to use only bottled water in the coffee maker and we quickly understood why. We chose to only use bottled water which, for 5 people for 9 days, became a bit if a nuisance and expense. In addition, the kitchen has no source of hot water — only cold. That includes the dishwasher. (The bathrooms have dedicated hot water heaters.).

Location was perfect. Short walk to all Valetta attractions. Host Martina was very attentive and helpful and responded promptly in the booking app. Apartment is very spacious. The beds were very comfortable. Hot water and water pressure were very good. Air condition strong enough. Kitchen was well equipped. Loved to induction stove-top. Only 1 flight of stairs up to apartment. Quiet neighbors. Wifi was excellent in the living area. A little spotty in the back bedroom.

The outside porch looked lovely but it was unusable. There was an awful odor and flies. The smell does not seep inside the apartment with the doors closed so it didn't bother us at all, and the back porch was not a factor in why we chose to stay here.

The apartment is exceptional. 3 great bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. Loads of space. Very clean. Lovely outside space. Only 10 minutes easy walk, with great views, to the centre of Valletta. Cafés and bars only 2 minutes away. Any questions we had were answered quickly by the owners. Even left us a kettle because there wasn't 1 in the apartment. Couldn't say enough about how great this place is.

Building work next door from 7.30 am, but this didn't spoil our stay.

Nice, big apartment in a convenient location, 10 minutes walk from the center. Marta was very kind and helpful. We would happily stay there again.

Located in a very convenient and beautiful area in the centre of Valletta, the nicely appointed apartment provides direct access to transport and attractions. The apartment is spacious, renovated and can comfortably accommodate six people (we were 3). The separate bathrooms, like the well-organised kitchen, are a great convenience. The facilities, in general, were very satisfactory, and the owner was friendly, informative, and available. The place also offers a spacious open terrace-balcony with no view but much space for breakfast, dinner or relaxation. Remember to bring adaptors for British-style sockets, as they are not available anywhere in the accommodation and will be difficult for those travelling from Europe or elsewhere. On the days we stayed (December), the weather was amiable, and we only needed some heating in the evening. I am unsure if the air conditioners can adequately meet the needs of the place in winter.

Although refurbished to a very satisfactory degree, mosquito nets and more modern windows for noise and insects are needed. Also necessary is a kettle in the kitchen and an extra set of towels, which we should have contacted the owner asking for.

Really beautiful apartment, centrally located with so much space. The host was easy to communicate with, check in (we arrived late) was flawless, apartment was equipped with everything you need.

Overall the apartment is really lovely, there is a lot of space and ac in every room, which we really appreciated. The location is pretty good, a short walk to Valletta and close to a lot of major bus routes. The owners were very responsive and attentive if we ever had any issues
