Howard Johnson by Wyndham Near Schlitterbahn

Location was perfect for us.

Looked like it could use more renovation. Door to bathroom in our room looked like it had been forced open at some point and never fixed. The breakfast was something to be considered continental, and not impressive at all.

The location was great. We were only 20 minutes away from everything we wanted to do. The pool was clean and the staff was very responsive.

The room had no closet, there was dried urine at the back of the toilet in the room that was supposed to be freshly cleaned for us, the room smelled like mildew, and I had to get the bathroom door knob changed because it wouldn’t lock.

The non-smoking rooms were a great feature. It greatly improved the quality of my stay. Everything was clean and new, just what I needed for a good night's sleep.

This location was ideal for our family trip. We appreciated the spacious family room and the grilling facilities. It was pleasant to be in a smoke-free atmosphere and spend some time outside carefree.
