Tideway Apartment with Private Parking Space

The location was excellent, only 5 minutes to the centre yet on a quiet road just above the train station. Excellent views over the harbour towards the Abbey. Plus the free parking space during the busy goth festival was an added big bonus.

We loved the view from this apartment. Sitting eating breakfast and seeing the boats on the river and the Abbey and St Mary's church was magical. The kitchen had everything we needed and well set out. Smoking area was very much appreciated by my husband! The central heating was all set for us but we could adjust if needed. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend this perfect little gem.

We had an absolutely perfect stay at this harbour front apartment in Whitby. From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations. The apartment itself was spotless, beautifully presented, and incredibly comfortable, with stunning views right over the harbour—it was a joy to wake up to every morning. One of the biggest advantages for us was the included car parking, which made the whole trip so much easier, especially in a busy area like Whitby. Once we parked up, we hardly needed the car again because everything is within easy walking distance. Shops, restaurants, cafes, and all the main attractions were just a short stroll away, making it the ideal location for exploring. The apartment was fully equipped with everything we needed, and it really felt like a home away from home. It was quiet, relaxing, and perfectly situated to enjoy both the lively harbour and peaceful moments watching the boats go by. We genuinely couldn’t have asked for more—perfect in every way. We would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Whitby and would definitely love to return.

Location was perfect. 5 minute walk to restaurants, pubs and town centre

this is a comfortable centrally located 1 bedroom apartment, on the first floor. those with any mobility issues should take note that the stairs are quite steep and it's a big step up into the bath. there was a well kitchenette as part of the lounge. the parking space isn't far away. It's big enough, but beware of the low but very hard metal post, it's all too easy to scratch your car when driving out because this post is not easy to see. Those with larger cars/SUVs might be better advised to park elsewhere.

The sound insulation from neighbouring apartments isn't quite good enough. A crowd of very noisy (old!) Yorkshire folk at the Airbnb next door managed to keep us awake until 1:00 AM on one of the days, but otherwise it was reasonably quiet. I think with the number of older properties in the Whitby area, this type of issue must be fairly common.

Lovely apartment, good location, highly recommend, will definitely book again 😀
