Casa Ambrosini Apartments by Wonderful Italy

Parking is tricky, not approachable during daytime. Hot water was missing in some periods.

Nice apartment with access from a main street, but located on a backyard, close to a garden. The access is safe (three locked doors) and there is no street noise. The apartment is spacious, clean, modern with a specific Italian charm. Both the kitchen and the bathroom were fine. In addition to the back garden, there is an inside yard with a fountain. There are many restaurants and shops around and the access to the main city place is easy by walking. The communication with the agency managing the apartment was both easy and efficient.

There is no dishwasher. Noise from the neighbors can be heard at some time. The apartment located on the ground floor is a bit dark (but also cool in summer). The boiler stopped working after a few days and the problem could not be solved. It required an annoying manual restart of it after each shower.

No breakfast. Location was great though

No hot water as problem with the boiler. However they were responsive to.my calls.

The lady that did the check in with us was very unfriendly. She pressured us to tell her the exact arrival time which was difficult since we drove long distance on the autostrada. Since they say they have free parking at the accommodation I asked her where to park a few minutes before arrival. She then said we can't enter the premises since there is a restricted traffic zone, which we could have entered only after 8pm. We choose the flat since it was very central with parking so this did not make any sense. We chose to risk it to then be welcomed at check in with this very unfriendly lady who said we will be fined 300€ and she warned us and so on. After some research we found d out we can just easily register the car for the day which she did not tell us but the company that rents the place - still took us 2 hours which we could have spend discovering Bologna. The flat is very dark, does not feel cozy and the floor was kind of dirty.

Location is amazing, great pizza and supermarket at the door; the flat is almost too big, it is clean. The bed is big and comfortable. It has parking, which is amazing for Bologna and the building is safe and beautiful. Temperature in the apartment is good, except the bathroom which is colder. Would come again definitely.

The lack of natural light which causes a bit of smell which you feel when you come from the outside. Also, the kitchen could be better equipped and have a washing machine. some vacuum cleaner would be useful for longer stays since the place is huge and impossible to clean with the broom, except partially. Also, the agency did offer baby cot, but without mattress which we needed to bring. We agreed to come at 8, and come at 8:15 due to traffic and the guy was so rude and almost did not talk to us like we were 2 hours late and we could calculate our arrival coming from 2000km that accurately. We were sent a link to pay the tourist tax at the external website which we did not feel comfortable doing, so in the end we payed in cash even though we were told it is not possible.
