Broughton Place: Contemporary Apartments in Liverpool

Clean, tidy, all amenities that you would expect. Washing machine, smart TV, double bed, En-suite. Hot water and heating very good. Kitchen facilities, usual Ikea spec, which is more than adequate and suited to the price point.

The property itself is very clean and compact. However the location from the outside looks like a building site. There is missing paving stones on the driveway and partially finished construction work. The door lock to our apartment, (flat 2) was working, however had clearly been previously drilled out with the holes still present within the door itself, leaving the property vulnerable, (see photos) Be aware once you book the apartment, you must pay a security deposit of £200, which is fine, to Prim stays via separate link, not via Booking.com. I did make a phone call to Booking.com who were very helpful who confirmed that this was the correct practice.

There was a delay with the entrance instructions being sent - this caused a slight delay with getting into the property. Prim short stays staff were very useful on the phone when I called about this though.

The property is very beautiful. Everything was brand new and clean. I felt very safe because of the secure locks on the doors, and it is in a nice area. The apartment warms up very quickly and the appliances are easy to use. Both the sofa and mattress are extremely comfortable. The shower is lovely and new and the water heats up very nicely. The apartment came with everything you would need: an iron, a hairdryer, salt and pepper, tea, coffee, sugar, etc. I was only planning on staying for a few nights but I loved it so much I extended my stay for another week. Will definitely be booking this place again.

No hooks anywhere to hang bags, and other things. Bad connection within the property, cannot make phone calls unless from WhatsApp.

Very clean and practical with everything that we needed for a long weekend. 20 mins from town centre. Loved the fact that it has ensuite in each bedroom. Great interior design. Really enjoyed our stay here. Would recommend.

Tricky using the key code on the door, but got used to it. Also, didn't like the sliding doors on the ensuites, especially as there is a large gap even when closed.
