It was truly heartwarming to receive such a warm welcome and experience the comfort of the well-secured rooms. The owners' care and attention to detail made our stay truly memorable. We were thrilled with the value for money we received and would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a fantastic experience.

Walk to the bus is about 10 minutes, bus ride to the CBD takes about 20 minutes. There’re shops, restaurants, supermarket within walking distance. Everything was perfect, and June was so lovely and welcoming to us. Her dog and cat only add to the charm.

I booked the room knowing it's not the totally private accommodation I normally go for, namely, this room was attached to a house: the private bathroom was within the house and kitchen facilities were shared. The bathroom was gorgeous and, had it been cold weather, I would have taken advantage of the deep bath. The shower was great, though. What I hadn't banked on was that I got along with the host, June, like a house on fire, plus her gorgeous little dog and cat. Normally I kind of 'hibernate' when away but I found myself spending both evenings engaged in in-depth conversations with June, which she was very open to. Not only was it a very relaxed stay, but it felt like I was staying with a new friend. June was also extremely helpful regarding the public transport into the Wellington CBD.

While the the surrounding area was very quiet, I am sensitive to noise and I could hear the fridge and a massage chair through the wall. In addition, due to the close proximity, I was awoken by household goings on getting ready for work, despite using earplugs. I'm sure moderate to heavy sleepers wouldn't be bothered at all, and this noise issue barely detracted from my short stay.
