Son River Homestay

I can only recommend this Homestay. The family is super nice and helpful. The rooms are clean and we had a beautiful view of the river and the mountains.

The room was big and there are communal balconies which look over the river. Near to a vegan restaurant.

Everything is perfect here! Lovely family. Gorgeous view. Very clean and quiet, and close to restaurants and cafes. Best value I found in Vietnam

It was absolutely perfect. Phuong, the manager, was great and helped us a lot.

Home stays are very popular in phong nha. The staff was as accommodating as they could’ve been. It’s a lovely town, this stay is well located within the surrounding activities.

Amazing place to stay in Phong Nha. It was approximately 20 minutes' walk to the main street, but this was not an issue with the free bicycles. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. Breakfast and coffee in the morning were great, and the lady was so lovely she helped organise a tour, motorbike and onward bus tickets.

The hostess was kind and helpful. We went for the marathon and our shoes got dirty and we wanted a place where we could wash our shoes and she gave us a bucket & brush & soap! Also let us used the bikes to get around town (super helpful when we could barely walk) Highly recommended. Room was clean and spacious and comfortable too. Location was walking distance to marathon start point which was the tourist centre.

We got free breakfast even if we didn't book it. Awesome view from the balcony. Cozy. Friendly Staff. You can rent Motorbikes there for 150 000. Also 3 free bikes available but I didn't try them.

It's 25 min walking distance from the "central backpacker Hostel" (where the Bus arrives)
