Villa Ema

This is a family run up scale kind of bed and breakfast, with large, modern rooms and bathrooms in a huge villa with a common kitchen and living area. The outside premises with a lush garden and nice pool is a big plus. The location close to the beach area with several restaurants is also great. If you are looking for a peaceful place with modern amenities and friendly, but simple service, this is the right place.

I never really write reviews but this place was 10/10 I cannot fault it. The owner and staff are unbelievably helpful and kind and will go above and beyond for anything you need. The place is absolutely beautiful and so well looked after and it’s very calm and peaceful. Rooms are lovely and beds were super comfortable. Can’t wait to come back!

The property is beautiful. Very tastefully done and spotless. Exactly like the pictures. It’s minutes from a quiet beach with a few beach cafés. We stayed two nights. The room was huge, lots of storage. The host and the staff were very sweet. Breakfast is lovely. Hikkaduwa beach is about 30 minutes and galle fort is about 20 minutes by car. Overall, it was a fantastic stay.

The Wi-Fi didn’t work on the second day.

Ein Traum! Wir haben uns richtig wohlgefühlt und die Besitzer des wunderschönen Anwesens sind sehr herzlich und hilfsbereit. Nur wenige Minuten sind wir zum Strand gelaufen. Hier gibt es einige Bars und Restaurants. Ansonsten haben wir total einfach Tuk-Tuks gebucht oder sind mit dem Bus, der nur wenige Minuten vom Hotel entfernt hält, gefahren.

From the owner to the staff everyone were super friendly! This locations is super close to anywhere in Galle and also the neighbourhood was nice too. Was super clean and the breakfasts were amazing. The owner Sithra makes sure you get a good variety of options. More than anything the villa itself is beautiful. Great for anyone to stay.

Our stay at this villa was absolutely wonderful. Everything was very clean, cozy, and comfortable. The service was great, and we truly felt relaxed here. The owners are amazing people — very kind and caring. They really make sure guests feel comfortable and happy. The villa has a nice living room, a fully equipped kitchen, and a big swimming pool — perfect for a relaxing vacation. We are very satisfied and definitely recommend staying here!
