Villa Ema

Przepiękne zadbane miejsce, czysto jak nigdzie! Piękny basen, przemiła właścicielka, dom jest śliczny, łóżko wygodne, wybitnie dobre śniadanie. Dookoła cisza i spokój. Chciałabym zostać dłużej!

The hosts were very friendly and welcoming. They provided a 7 day itinerary of things to do in advance which was handy. The villa is very modern, clean, one of the best showers we have encountered travelling around Asia, very powerful and hot. Nice toiletries were provided. The villa offers a laundry service, which was quick and reasonably priced. The quality of the wash was the best we have had. Quiet and private location, short walk to a very nice beach bar, which also has beach yoga every morning. Uber and pick me worked well, and it was very easy to get to the old fort in Galle for the day and to organise onward travel.

We would have liked more options at breakfast, every day is different so there is variety but it is 1 set option, you don’t have a choice. We understand their normal chef wasn’t available during our stay so this may not be the case all the time.

Beautifully designed property with lovely swimming pool and surrounding greenery. Away from main road. Charming hosts and friendly staff. Beach within east walking distance, with good seafood restaurants equally easy to reach on foot.

If you’re keen to be in the urban centre of Galle, (we weren’t), able to walk to your sightseeing spots ( eg the fort) from your homestay, this is not for you. It is located approx half an hour by cab from Galle centre. We liked the relaxed location of Vila Ema

A nice, very well-kept modern villa with five rooms. It now even has a proper swimming pool. The owners are very friendly and very helpful. I would stay here again.

The room was large, the wify really good, the service great and the beach was walking distance. It was very clean and well-kept.

Villa Ema is werkelijk een plaatje, een architectonisch hoogstandje. Een prachtige uitstraling waarbij gebruik is gemaakt van de beste materialen en voorzien van alle gemakken. Een heerlijk zwembad, diverse zitjes, zowel binnen, als buiten. Een heerlijk bed met fijn beddengoed, fijne ruime badkamer met warm water en een lekker ontbijt met keuze uit continentaal of sri lankaans. Drinkwater is gratis te verkrijgen. Zeer gastvrije gastheer en gastvrouw en bedienend personeel. Weg van de drukte/doorgaande weg maar wél op slechts 300 meter gezellige restaurantjes aan het strand. Er zijn ook kleine winkeltjes in de buurt.

Helemaal niets. Als je jezelf ergens aan zou willen storen dan zouden het de omgevingsgeluiden kunnen zijn van een zo nu en dan voorbijrijdende trein of de geluiden van een verderop gelegen moslimschool, maar het heeft ons geen moment gestoord.
