GBI liked how homely it felt! It’s in a really calm and quiet area, away from busy tourist areas. The bedrooms are lovely sized and it’s so helpful having full kitchen facilities available.
To get back to the property from Funchal centre, you have to walk up a lot of hills. However that is not the properties fault, I just don’t like walking uphill!

Durant cette semaine pluvieuse, nous avons eu froid dans notre chambre 3 (pas de chauffage existant,, pas de couvertures supplémentaires). A l'étage, la douche et les wc se trouvent dans la même pièce et sont communs pour 4 chambres, soit 8 personnes!! Il faut donc attendre la plupart du temps pour prendre sa douche ou aller aux toilettes! Ce n'est ni plus ni moins qu'une auberge de jeunesse.

ESDEGute Lage, Busstation in der unmittelbaren Nähe, gute Parkmöglichkeit, gutes Frühstückscafe in der Nähe, Matratzen waren gut. Es ist eine sehr gute Möglichkeit in Funchal kostengünstig zu übernachten.
Das Haus ist hellhörig und insbesondere das Türenschliessen ist laut. Der Hahn, der in der Nähe wohnt, hat interessante Alarmzeiten eingestellt . Dafür kann der Hausbesitzer aber nichts.

Common bathroom on the 1st floor was sometimes a bit dirty. By 7days stay we would appreciate taking our the rubbish from the room at least once. Otherwise everything was ok.
