Condo in Otematata

Very nice place

Location and size was perfect for my needs. Kitchenette was well stocked with pots/pans, etc to make self-catering a breeze. Fridge and freezer was a good size. Tea, coffee and sugar provided, which was a welcome extra. Bed was comfy & electric blanket was awesome.

Wifi password was provided but had to guess the network name, signal was patchy and poor network security set up prevented me connecting my work laptop. I ended up using mobile data for most of my stay. It took a bit of guess work to figure out the heaters as no instructions were provided, but I did get them both going in the end.

Was clean and tidy

That we couldn’t park outside our unit also it was very very noisy really need double or triple glazing

Suited us for Alps to Ocean bike ride

Slow internet

Enough space for 3 people. Quiet location. Just for a bed for one night it was okay.

Not enough information to find the main door. Had to call owner to find the proper entrance. Couldn’t switch on the tv. although the owner sent a photo of the remote we could not switch it on. Proper instructions on the door and tv would be great. We were a couple and a friend. It was not comfortable as the bathroom was en-suite. Just for a bed for one night it was okay.
