even though I booking was settled and confirmed by the property, I was contacted on WhatsApp two hours before check in so that my appartment was not available anymore and I had to pay more for an other.

I booked a family suite for my stay. Before I arrived, the owner called me and asked how many kids I have. When I arrived, they put me in a studio instead of a family suite. I refused to take less than what I paid for. Through phone calls I had to struggle with her for about an hour to get what I paid for. It looks that she decided I don’t deserve a family suit all for myself, regardless of what I paid for. After a huge argument she moved me to the family suite, but still decided to prevent me from accessing the whole suite. The bedroom that was provided has no air condition and it appeared to me that still they are not providing me with what I had paid for. After another round of back and forth she allowed her employee to open the other room which has an air condition. What was really disturbing is her employee telling her “I have been patient with her,” or telling her to be patient with me, as if I was begging and have no right to ask for what I paid for. No one should go through that. You travel to relax and enjoy a time away from work and daily demands of a regular life. This is as if you bought a large house, but the seller decided to give you smaller house or part of the house (since you have no family) and pocket your payment or maybe rent out a section of the house you paid full price for it. In addition to that, the description of the place does not fit the reality as there is no inner courtyard nor a terrace in this suite. The owner claimed that booking.com is to blame for the wrong description as she did not provide such description. Anyway, after this issue was resolved I enjoyed the suite and the city. Just be aware that the water may shut down while you are taking a shower, but they resolve this issue quickly. The place is beautiful and with little repair it can be a great find, especially if they fix the gargling water pipes and the leaking faucets. Make sure you know what you paid for and stand firm to get what you deserve.

I liked mostly the neighbourhood the place is near the medina and all the needed amenities

For my family we were obliged to take two separate rooms at a last moment the same day we were arriving, called by the owner so we are planning to leave we accepted it but it was not that convenient, anyway Mr Faicel the guy who waited or us was pretty good and helpful , however the room was not very clean, dust especially and no liquid soap , not enough kitchen utensils if you want to cook , the coffee machine I guarantee it is clean , the neighbourhood is safe , near the old town and downtown, sea is 10 to 15 min walk , I enjoyed my stay with my family that is the most important.

We stayed in the top apartment , 1 room with 1double and 1 single, kitchen area , bathroom.All we needed and a great roof terrace to sit and relax on.Amel , the owner moved us downstairs which had an extra bedroom and extra bathroom as we had our 30 year old daughter with us. She kept in touch over the phone to make sure all was well.
