"Beautiful location, ideal for Cadwell."

8.0

Beautiful location We stayed in the big tent, which was great fun, lots of room

Spiders 😬😂. Unfortunately I found 3 in my pillowcase.... Comes with the territory of glamping. Would be helpful to provide more kindling for the fire.

"Beautifully designed, relaxing space."

9.0

Loved the setting and the feel of the whole place. The vineyard was very well enclosed for our puppy and the space beyond that was plenty to roam and relax. The hut is well thought out and designed, modern with a rustic twist, couldn't have asked for anything more.

Nothing that we didn't like.

"Nice break, but too cold in October"

6.0

Lovely little Shepherd's Hut, with fridge, kettle, plates, cutlery etc Very quiet and peaceful. Great little BBQ area with chairs. Lovely little log burner, with wood, matches and firelighters provided, which made the hut warm and cosy. Good job because it was very cold for October. Owner was kind enough to let us check out a little later on day of departure and thoughtfully provided a Birthday banner for friends birthday.

I know it's an eco site, but no electricity for hairdryer, phone charger etc was a bit of a pain to be honest. Had to towel dry hair and wait for it to dry every day before we could go anywhere. Shower/toilet room was absolutely freezing compared to the rest of the hut (no idea why), the composting toilet started to smell after the second day, which wasn't very nice, the mattress had a large orange/brown stain on it when bed was stripped, so maybe time to replace, but it was comfy. We went out to eat one night and came back when it was dark (around 8pm) and trying to navigate a wet field in the pitch black, with lumps and bumps was treacherous (stumbled a couple of times, even with a phone light). Some solar lights on the field would have helped enormously. I sent a message to owner on day of departure, saying thanks for having us, water wouldn't go down in bathroom sink, have opened windows etc, but it was read and no reply, which I found a bit strange.

"Lovely relaxing break."

10.0

The location was beautiful and the shepherd's hut was very well equipped to say how small it was. The bed was lovely and comfortable and I particularly enjoyed relaxing in the hammock whilst my husband cooked on the bbq.

Around the outside bath was very overgrown and messy it had quite a few nettles which meant we couldn't enjoy the bath. We used the shower inside instead.

"Really enjoyed our stay and was nice to be very secluded and a big outdoor space"

7.0

Loved the set up of the glamping was really nice for kids as it was all secure and they could play in the whole field and in hammocks etc. the shower was absolutely lovely great temperature and pressure. Really good communal area to eat and socialise was lovely as our friends were staying in the cabin next door.

The log fire was very open to little kids and abit dangerous maybe better to have a metal cover around it so kids cannot touch actual log burner. Also during night got very cold even with log burner on maybe some extra blankets or an oil heater for the colder months would be better.

"A relaxing, picturesque stay away from the busy everyday life"

10.0

Vineyard provided much welcomed privacy. A fantastic location, waking up to the cows and sheep. It’s also located next to a couple great villages/towns.

We loved everything!

"Really enjoyed my stay and hope to come back on another visit in the future."

10.0

The setting of the Vineyard Hut was excellent, amongst the vines and surrounded by nature. The hut was clean and tidy upon arrival and had everything I needed for my 3 night stay. I even had the chance to use the hammock provided on one sunny afternoon.

Couldn't think of anything I didn't like about it.
