GBWe loved the way the cottage was furnished and decorated. The beds and bedding were very comfortable. We found everything we needed.
The drive on the approach is very bumpy and it was difficult to drive, even very slowly, without scraping the bottom of the car.

There's a small amount of general maintenance needed - a few lose screws in the bedroom door handle and one 'wonky' cupboard door in the kitchen

Nice size property and clean enough to use but in need of some deep cleaning and maintenance. Shower room tiles mouldy, bathroom floor tile grouting dirty/missing. Plugs no longer connected to sinks. Window frames dirty/need painting and general paint standard poor. Could be lovely but needs money spent on it to bring it up to a good standard. Paintwork very diy and would advise that lounge is painted in paler/more pleasant colour. Looks like a dirty protest. Sorry guys but this could be a great property with some tlc but looking very tired and sad.

Everything was lovely but just a little concerned about the bannisters.
GBAs described. Lovely place to stay, location excellent, right near Newport but further enough out to feel you were in the countryside! Good directions and instructions on how to find the property. Comfy beds, good shower ( maybe put instructions somewhere on how to operate shower as we had some Australian friends with us who had no idea! 🤣) Didn't use the kitchen other than make a cup of tea or a bowl.of porridge for breakfast as we only stayed one night but.kitchen facilities excellent and plenty of utensils, pots, pans etc. will recommend to others. Would definitely stay again. The lady who welcomed us was very friendly and lovely.
