It was how it was described and it was a nice idea to stay in the old style Caravan Sarai. The location is great. The breakfast is nice. The staff are nice & friendly. Looks very beautiful inside & out.

We were given the wrong room. We were supposed to get a larger room with a large bed as we had paid for, but we were given a small double room with 2 single beds we had to push together. Unfortunately by the time we realised when we checked our booking it was too late and booking.com told us we need to report these things before checkout. Fair enough. The room was very dirty. I had to spend some time cleaning it because it was making my allergies escalate even though I had no issues outside of the room in the common area (which thankfully was cleaned by them daily). There were cockroaches constantly in the bathroom. We were irritated to see that a single man got checked in to the room we were supposed to have (door was open while it was being prepared) and when I spoke to him in the common area while we were relaxing a little he told me he was upgraded for free… All in all the place has a good vibe and it generally is what it says on the site, but due to this either intentional or accidental mixup we had a poor experience. We think they may have double booked and in our exhaustion we didn’t question what we had booked until it was a couple days already in the room (our lesson for the future). It is just frustrating to not get what we paid for.

This place is a genuine gem! It's located strategically in Bukhara old town, you can explore everything on foot from there basically. It was built in a former madrasa with a fantastic garden/patio in the middle. Very spacious entry on both floors and a joy to have breakfast there or just sit and enjoy the green, the silence and beautiful suzani decorations around you. A 10+ for the incredible staff! We enjoyed every minute and really felt home. I would always come back here if I have the opportunity to revisit Bukhara.

Комната компактная, но все необходимое есть кроме чайника и холодильника. Месторасположение отличное, вся историческая часть города в шаговой доступности. Для ночёвки подойдёт . Завтраки однообразные и довольно скудные. Мужчина точно останется голодным. В комнате кондиционер направлен прямо на кровать и отрегулировать его для комфортной температуры довольно сложно

Il patio interno, dove consumare la colazione tra un' aiuola e sotto l'ombra mattutina di due alberi è davvero incantevole.

Purtroppo, come in altre strutture in Uzbekistan, il POS non funziona (questo è quello che dicono, come se in quanto italiani non conoscessimo la procedura...); quando ho fatto presente che non era un mio problema e che volevo pagare con la carta così come stabilito, sono stato accompagnato in un mimi-market a 200 metri di distanza, ho pagato l'importo del soggiorno e il commerciante ha dato al giovane che mi accompagnava l'equivalente in contanti. Non ho telefonato a Booking.com solo per non rovinarmi il pomeriggio...e inoltre dentro la camera non era presente nulla di quello previsto, dal frigo alla tavola da stiro etc., non che ne avessimo bisogno, però se lo scrivi poi lo devi anche far trovare

The staff were lovely, and the location was great. It was also nicely decorated and I liked the courtyard area. The rooms were nice and the bathroom was very big.

They advertise a swimming pool, which they don't have. They also advertise strong WiFi, which they also don't have. The beds could have been more comfortable.
