Philosophy of Mykonos Boutique Hotel

Booked this property over eight months ago. Woke up the morning we were flying to Mykonos to an email saying they had cancelled our booking.

Simply don't trust these people if you don't want to end up trying to find last minute accommodation while you are at the airport like we had to. Reviews on this site all seemed fine, but on a further Google search today I see this is not the first time they have done this to people.

Room was very aesthetic, in typical Greek style, with a very comfortable bathroom what I value the most in hotel rooms. Hotel personnel was extremely kind and willing to help with any matter. Hotel location is very good, Easy to reach to all main beaches, airport and Mykonos town by car (10 minutes).

Breakfast food selection was poor, no safes in the rooms, water and coffee capsules in the room were extra upon request.

The hotel was nice and clean, the pool was a great size and the pool bar staff were very friendly. The rooms were cleaned every day by the cleaners. However, cleaned maybe a little too well as some of our things were binned that we weren’t expecting to be! (Maybe our fault for leaving them out in sight.) The rooms did look slightly bigger on the photos than they were in person, we had a ground floor room that backed onto a gravelled area at the rear of the hotel. Unfortunately, the main disadvantage for us was that we could hear absolutely everything going on outside of the room, in the hallway and even conversations from guests in the neighbouring rooms. Apart from this we had a great time here, it was very relaxed and not too busy which is always a plus. The hotel also had friendly little kittens roaming around that seemed to be well looked after, which again, was a plus for me being an animal lover. Plenty of parking at the hotel for car/ATV rentals - which I would recommend doing as Mykonos Town is only a 7 minute drive away but the hotel transport’s minimum fee was €36 and on average around €40 for a taxi. We’re a bit fussy when it comes to food so we didn’t really eat the breakfast provided at the hotel but there seemed to be a good selection. Thanks for having us :)
