Hostel Miyagawa by Murasaki

雖然地點離車站有點距離，但離朝市蠻近的，是ㄧ個乾淨的背包客棧。辦理入住手續是屬於遠端與房東辦理入住，剛開始會搞不清楚要怎樣辦理入住，但房東會很有耐心跟你解釋入住手續等。

位於高山老街上，旁邊就是宮川朝市，地理位置極好。 公共浴室乾淨，住宿費用便宜。

The private room was very cute with two beds and two puffs by the window where you could sit at a little table. It was a bit small though, which for us was ok cause we only had a backpack but if you have big luggages it could be problematic. The remote check in was fast and we could even leave the backpacks before. Location is super central. We even did laundry, you need to go to another hostel which was not too far away, it was not the most practical but basically free (only 100yen for detergent) so we really appreciated it. It was very clean.

COLD. In the room it was ok cause we had a personal heater, however the hallways, the stairs and the toilets were freezing. It was so cold I almost didn’t want to use the toilets, so imagine going downstairs for the showers…honestly I would have given a 9 to our stay cause the room was nice and practical, but the fact that I was trapped in the room to escape the cold really impacted the overall pleasantness of the stay.

La ubicación, muy cerca del centro de Takayama, su centro histórico y la zona de restaurantes. El ingreso, muy sencillo de hacer ya que no hay personal. Al igual lo es la salida, que es automática. Además, si bien hay toque de queda, hay una zona que puede ser accedida libremente, ideal para un check-in temprano.

Al no haber personal en el hostel, da la sensación que no hay nadie velando por la tranquilidad, la seguridad y las formas en el lugar. En un momento me fui a bañar y cuando salí vi a dos personas salir del mismo baño. No me pareció sospechoso ni me molestó ni nada, pero sí me pareció raro. Creo si hubiera habido personal en el hostel, es probable que no sucedan cosas así.

Value for money. Traditional old Japanese architecture.

Public areas were not as clean as they should (walking without shoes) during some times of the day.
