Hostel Miyagawa by Murasaki

Great location and paid car parking (1000 yen) next door. Beds were comfortable though you have to make them yourself. Room was warm and cosy despite being very cold outside.

Walls rather thin and noise travels. The ‘self-service’ check-in procedure was soooo drawn out and complicated. Everything felt like a treasure-hunt “What to do next, where do you put the passports to take photo, where are the light switches etc”. I couldn’t find the light switch to the kitchen in the dark, hidden behind a monitor.

ロケーションがいい。朝市、駅も徒歩圏内。飲食店、薬局、コンビニも近くにある。専用の駐車場はないが、すぐ横と道を挟んで正面にコインパーキングがあり、24時間1000円で停めることが出来たので自家用車で行っても問題ない。シャワーの水量も良く、寒い日だったがシャワーだけでも問題なかった。共有スペースにインスタントコーヒー、ルイボスティー、飴と、小袋の柿の種がおいてあり、休憩や少し仕事をするのにちょうど良かった。

トイレのスリッパについて説明がなく、外国人がトイレの外でも使用していた。寒い日でも暖房がついていて寒い思いはしなかったが、乾燥がすごかった。加湿器があると良かった。
