INThe property manager was very attentive for our needs. There are 3 camps at the site. He even lit bonfire for us in the night. We went for dunebashing with him which was great(20 omr). It was worth every penny to stay at the camp. If you prefer privacy book this without second thought.

NLThe host is really nice! He is a young guy from Bidiya who just finished university. He built the camp himself, which looks really good. He picked us up from the Bidiya center and drove us to the camp in his 4x4. He made sure to go over some hills to make the ride more enjoyable for us as well, we even could sit in the back of the pick-up truck. In the evening we drank coffee and thee with the host and his friends and exchanged stories, which was also really nice. The location of the camp is also top-tier since you have a view only on the dessert and you can’t see all the other camps from your tent. The tent itself is really cozy and the beds are super comfortable. 10/10 would recommend to anyone who want to have a dessert experience and support this legend!
FRVery nice place and people. Welcoming, clean and well located. Very close to the city, but you need a good 4*4 to drive there, or the owner can drive you there from the city.
DEIt is a wonderful little camp (only 3 tents), very comfortable and clean, about a 15-minute drive from a pickup point. I was lucky to be the only guest, as a solo female traveler, for one night in that camp, and I felt very safe. The owner was very nice and polite, took care of me, and even stayed that night in the camp so that I was not alone. There is a possibility to have dinner at another camp, where he brought me and where I could meet other travelers. Dinner costs extra, as does the transport.
All good.
FRWe had an amazing stay at the mirage camp desert (thanks Dhamin). It is owned by a young Omani who was super nice. We arrived early in the afternoon and after dropping us off at the tents, we shared local coffee, dates and exchanged together about our cultures. It was such an enriching moment ! After that, we went dunes bashing and camel riding to get t a full désert expérience. Diner and breakfast were really good. We were scared that it would be cold because of the wind, but we slept super well and we stayed warm under the blanket. We would more than recommend the place if you want a full experience of the desert at an attractive price.

PLSmall camp on Bidiyah sands with a great atmosphere. The owner of the place is lovely with a lot of knowledge about living on the dessert, we had a fun time chatting on the way to the cam and later by the fire. What's important they don't overcharge you for the 4x4 transfer from the parking spot! The tent itself was very clean and cosy, even in the chilly night we were warm under the blankets. We booked a breakfast which was served in the nearby camp. Nice buffet with local cuisine, recommend! Overall great experience, I'm sure they will grow the business very fast :))

USThe tent was fun and in between dunes so it felt private. We were helped to get there since we didn’t have a 4 wheel drive car and the entire experience went smoothly and was great.
Can get very sandy but you are in the desert…
