Facilities were amazing

The gate at the main entrance was closed, and since we had our own vehicle, we had to call the doorman each time to open it. It would be much more convenient if guests who book the riad were provided with a key.

Very poor service and unclear rules When we arrived, everything seemed fine and we were helped in a friendly way. Unfortunately, this completely changed when we tried to check in. I wanted to stay in one room together with my niece, which we had reserved in advance. At the reception we were suddenly told this was not allowed. We tried to find a solution and even offered to book an extra room, but this was also refused. We were told we needed to show marriage papers or that she had to have a European passport, even though there were clearly other rooms available. These rules were never mentioned beforehand and came completely out of nowhere. Because the situation became so unreasonable, we decided to cancel the room. At the front desk we were told the cancellation would be processed, but the next day we still had not received any confirmation. After calling ourselves, we were told the staff member was “new” and that no one knew anything about it. In the end, we were informed that we would not receive a refund. This experience felt like being misled and showed a complete lack of customer service or willingness to help. It’s a real shame, because it started off well, but after this experience I will never book here again and cannot recommend this place to anyone.
