"Peaceful oasis in beautiful hamlet"

10.0

We arrived earlier than expected but Larry was very quick to respond and showed us everything we needed. Location was great, close to the M25 but still incredibly peaceful. All day long you can hear the birds singing and there were lovely walks nearby with rabbits hopping through the bluebells, and the historic hamlet right on our doorstep - it is idyllic! There were 5 adults and a toddler in our group and there was ample space for us all, lots of seating inside and out. We had everything we needed in the kitchen. Excellent value split between 5 of us. My only regret is we couldn't stay longer! I would definitely come again.

Everything was fine for us.

"Comfy rural cottage"

8.0

Lovely location and easy to get into the cottage. Lots of space and good facilities. Comfy home like space.

It was fine for us but the cottage is up a steep path and a walk from the village. More rural than we expected but we loved that.

"A peaceful retreat"

8.0

It was situated in a small hamlet with a small church and old, interesting looking buildings alongside, with lovely walks around and only a short distance to the pretty town of Godstone. Three double bedrooms, lounge, dining room with seating for 6, large kitchen with dish washer, washing machine, fridge freezer, iron and ironing board, etc etc. Everything we needed was privided for us. There was garden furniture too and a huge apple tree. The beds were comfy and the bed linen good quality. Also thick, large bath towels, hand towels and shower mats. There was a mattress protectors but no pillow protectors . The peace and quiet and bird song was lovely and the church bells on Sunday morning were nice to hear....

We couldn't figure out how to use the TV and there were no instructions... a small radio §would have been nice Access to the house was up a very steep narrow winding pathway.. a bit daunting for us in our 70s, trying to get our luggage up there, but very well lit at night. In the lounge we couldnt open the window at the front because it was locked and we couldn't open the French windows at the back, so had to open the front doors to get some air into the house, but I'm sure the owners will see to this as soon as they can. There is a large garden but sadly it was very overgrown by the French winfows with weeds. It could have been a lovely place to sit out in if there had been just a few shrubs or plants. We enjoyed our visit.

"Really comfortable spacious house in beautiful countryside"

9.0

Lots of space. Perfect for a family stay. Comfortable.

The steep path up to the property was a bit tricky in the rain but it wasn’t a big deal.
