Le quartier n'a pas beaucoup d'intérêt, mais convient tout à fait pour une nuit.

The fact that the hosts was aware of the water issue and did not inform us prior to arrival is absolutely unacceptable. Accepted that these things happen but surely a courtesy call / message would have been good. To further aggravate the situation there was a shower for the 1st evening with a trickle of water. The water supply was from a reservoir. On the 2nd night it was stated that buckets of water can be heated for a bath because it’s too much effort to fill the tanks for the shower! That is not unacceptable!!! I expect something to be done about this
