Penthouse suite, Victoria Apartments

Location, tastefully decorated, clean. Saw comments about the bed before I arrived but personally I found it very comfortable.

Would have liked some wine glasses, champagne flutes. A small spruce up in general for maintenance would have made this a 10/10.

It is a very nice apartment, well furnished, contemporary and comfortable in a very good location.

There was a bit of a hitch with our stay. The host immediately resolved the situation. I think it was certainly a one-off and we didn't have to debate the issue as the host was 100% professional and helpful. This is NOT the issue but heating was off and it was very cold on arrival but no instructions as to how to get them working. It wasn't entirely obvious. The bedroom radiator seemed to be child-locked and we couldn't get it to the right temperature, so the room was a bit on the cool side. I think a set of instructions would make the stay excellent.

Quirky, comfortable, good views, clean. Efforts were made with the wall furnishings to make it feel homely.

No dialogue correspondence with proprietor despite 2 messages. Constant smell of weed from other residents when entering and leaving the building. Would benefit from a couple of tea towels and a complimentary tea / coffee with milk.

Absolutely NOTHING. It was disgusting from outside/inside. Filthy entrance,the key lock boxes were damaged, filthy not numbered and most broken. Advertised photos were certainly NOT of that disgusting place. Advertised animals not allowed, a man followed me in with a great big dog, like a pit bull or bull massive and ran straight up the stairs. One of the occupants queried everything about me, asking what I wanted, how long I was staying and I had to show my consent letter. The owner finally sent me instructions of how to get to the apartment, I followed what was on the text, the whole place was dirty and smelt disgusting. I did not reach the apartment, it was scary just trying to find it. The carpet was filthy, door numbers were hanging off, dirty flaking paint. I didn’t feel safe in there at all, a woman on her own. I couldn’t get out of there fast enough. The photos certainly didn’t show the true inside of the building. It was like somewhere for down and outs. HORRENDOUS experience. NEVER AGAIN.

EVERYTHING HORRENDOUS EXPERIENCE. I wasn’t in there long enough or felt safe enough to stay in there long enough to take any photos. When I told friends where and what I had been through, and they live in Prestatyn they said ‘They always thought that place was a doss house’ and my goodness were they right.

Well kitted out with everything needed. Great location and views. Very comfortable.
