The Haven

Was looking forward to staying over but the room was double book when we saw someone stuff in the room and we hand the key bck down and said to the staff is that room doubled book and there were stuff on top of the bed like . I am hopeing for a refund.

I liked the location by the promenade as my family are from this area so knew it would be a good place to stay. The towels were good and the

The window positions meant we were looking out onto the smoking area of the pub and felt we had no privacy nor safety. The windows rattled at night and kept me away to the point I didn’t feel safe- really not ideal for a weekend away. The bathroom toilet seat wasn’t clean and stained and it felt dingy and not like a nice place to be. To get the keys meant we had to ask about and lug our luggage about between pubs in an attempt to get in due to lack of instructions on app and no email to explain.

Not much at all.

Tried to charge me £220 despite being prepaid a week earlier. NO TOWELS in the room, dirty bed sheets. Very tired decoration and worn look, feel and definitely smell. Will DEFINITELY NOT use again. It’s called ‘Haven’ ! Doesn’t live up to the name at all.

Very noisy I was led to believe that breakfast included because that's what was advertised as bed and breakfast

We had a downstairs room,, brilliant, and had a great view… ,, not a lot of street noise ,, location was the best for our needs.. and beside great places serving great food with very good service from all the staff…

Lumpy pillows,, they need replacing..

We didn’t stay at The Haven as we were upgraded by the hosts to Avoca Hotel instead. Great location, lovely staff who weee so friendly and helpful. We loved the room (beautiful decor). Spotlessly clean and amazing sea and mountain views. Restaurant downstairs was excellent. We would highly recommend staying there.

Very central

Property had damp patches beside bed. Bathroom had rotten wood on skirting board. The view from the window was looking out at old mattress and other items being dumped
