Beautiful location with loads of parking

Shower didn’t work properly and leaked, had a bath which was fine but when I drained the bath it leaked all over the floor

The room had a shower and toilets with automatic lights and vent extractors that came on at random intervals through the whole night. The bunks were moderately comfortable.

I booked two rooms for eight people for my friends and me. We were pleased with everything, especially the kitchen (spacious and well equipped). The location is simply amazing, and the whole building and grounds look lovely — definitely worth the money

It's in a great location a few minutes walk into Castleton. The building is fabulous, full of history. Accommodation was warm, comfortable and we had en-suite facilities. It has all the usual YH facilities, bar, kitchen, various lounges and a relaxed atmosphere. Everything looked well kept and clean. We don't do breakfast so I can't comment. Overall, we had a great stay.

Our room was too warm for us. Apart from that, there was nothing to dislike.
