Greenland Cottage's Arambol

This property cancelled my booking an hour before I was due to arrive stating they were over booked despite me booking days in advance. I was then left to find alternative accommodation at 10pm. As a foreign female tourist who didn’t know the area this was a very concerning experience. Avoid !!!

Manque de maintenance de l'établissement au global

Good location; very close to the beach and the market as well popular spots like ‘Twice in Nature’, ‘Dudu Falafel’ etc. The rooms are cosy and match the value you pay for. The support staff on site was very helpful and polite. The accommodation manager was equally resourceful, with helping arrange parking for your guests, as the accommodation is on a slope.

My bathroom door in particular couldn’t be opened with ease if locked while using the facilities, which was a bit concerning. The room was very dimly lit, so compromises what activities you can do in the room. It would’ve been nice to have a mini fridge in the room to be able to store any perishables. While there was a portable heater, there weren’t any tea/ coffee accompaniments as such.

Коттеджи находятся в глубине переулка, поэтому там относительно тихо. Хотя в некоторые дни было слышно музыку из клуба или ресторана неподалеку. Пляж близко, неплохие кафе совсе рядом. На перекрестке с главной улицей обменник с неплохим курсом, чуть дальше по главной улице хорошая аптека.

Коттеджи уставшие. С уборкой все сложно) Проблемы с электрикой. Конкретно в нашем номере не работали часть освещения, чайник и телевизор. Это было не критично для нас, но для кого-то может оказаться сюрпризом. Швы немного вспухшей плитки на полу были замазаны каким-то белым составом, который постоянно крошился и добавлял мусора. Это при условии что сотрудник перед заселением старательно оттирал лишнее. Мрачноватый вид закрытого не работающего бассейна и части коттеджей использующихся под склад вещей. Белье тоже подуставшее. Мы запрашивали оплату картой и раннее заселение. По месту оказалось что оплата картой это поход до банкомата и снятие наличных, чего мы делать конечно же не стали и пошли менять доллары для оплаты. Раннее заселение оказалось позже ожидаемого, пришлось подождать владельца. Ну и очевидно из-за занятости всех номеров нам как раз и достался этот с проблемной электрикой. В целом учитывая стоимость на все это можно закрыть глаза.

This place needs serious renovation. The bathroom door and latch were broken before we reached. The place is in a small upright position and there is no road. Very difficult to take scooty.

Der Gastgeber war sehr freundlich , lustig und hilfsbereit , es ist nicht weit entfernt vom Strand . Ich bin alleine gereist und habe mich sehr wohl gefühlt. In den zwei Wochen wurde das süße Cottage zu meinem Zuhause ;)
