Abbey View Cottage

Lovely little place to stay in the heart of Whitby. Warm and comfortable. Had the bonus of a Christmas tree too! Great communication from the owner. Highly recommended

Bed a little small for us, but that’s a personal choice. Could do with a full length mirror for us ladies would be helpful.

Unloading and loading the car, but that’s Whitby unfortunately.

Wow!!! This place is just stunning!! It’s the nicest place I’ve ever stayed in Whitby. The decor is stunning and the cottage has absolutely everything you could wish for. The bed is so hard to get out of because it’s so comfy!! Debs was brilliant at getting info for check in and location out to me in good time. The neighbours are lovely and friendly. It’s so perfectly placed for being “in town” but tucked away and peaceful. I could’ve quite happily stayed there for much longer than a couple of nights. Definitely will return!! 10/10!!!

Lovely quaint place but although dog friendly not a great place for dogs as many steps both to get to the property and also inside from kitchen narrow circular stairs up to the living room and then narrow circular stairs to the bedroom. That said, the views of the abbey from the living room balcony were fantastic.

Too many stairs.
