Kandy Home stay - Haloluwa

All we can say is WOW! This was not only the best place we stayed in Sri Lanka, it might be the best we’ve stayed anywhere. The room and property were spacious, spotless, and very comfortable. But what truly made it special were the hosts, Jaliya and Shama. They were incredibly kind and helpful, Jaliya met us on the road when we arrived after dark and even helped us find a mechanic the next day for our tuk-tuk. Shama’s cooking was absolutely amazing! The best meals we had in Sri Lanka and we loved our conversations over dinner. Couldn’t recommend this place more! Thanks for everything! Emma & Albert

This is the most wonderful family we have met on the entire island, and their home makes you feel like you are with family and at home. Such wonderful people, they were kind to us and treated us with great love as if we were children! And the food that my wife cooks is simply better than any restaurant! We left there with tears in our eyes, and we will definitely come back! The tears were from happiness and endless gratitude for such a welcome and such support that they gave us! The house itself is amazing, located right in the mountains and the air and the views from the balcony were so harmonizing and setting us up for the most wonderful journey and feelings! With the warmth and love that they gave us, we go even more fulfilled and happier! And the house itself is delightful, so many details and history in it! I recommend everyone to get into this heavenly, amazing house filled with love and light!

Had a wonderful stay at this homestay in Katugasthota. The place was spotless and well-maintained, offering a peaceful environment. The hosts were incredibly warm and welcoming, making us feel right at home. Breakfast was delicious and freshly prepared. Highly recommended for a comfortable and homely experience.

This is not just a homestay; it's a truly inviting home. The hosts, Sir and Ma’am, have a beautiful property that harmonizes with nature and tranquility. Their house is exceptionally clean, which adds to its charm. Once we arrived in Kandy, we didn't feel the need to leave the property. We are grateful to Ma’am for the wonderful breakfast and meals.
