Kandy Home stay - Haloluwa

We had an absolutely fantastic time at Kandy home stay. Jaliya and Shama were the kindest hosts we’ve stayed in 3 months of travelling Sri Lanka. The house is absolutely immaculate and you have access to a wonderful balcony set in nature. The facilities are excellent and the highest standard we have experienced since leaving the U.K. I highly recommend visiting Kandy home stay.

The owner and his wife were friendly and very helpful to us. Even carried our luggage to the room. Provided us with authentic home cooked meals, great hospitality.House located in a safe and clean environment. Clean and a comfortable place to stay.

We had the most wonderful stay! The uncle and aunt went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and well taken care of. From the warm welcome at check-in to the thoughtful little touches throughout our stay, it was clear that they genuinely cared about their guests. The room was spotless, beautifully arranged, and equipped with everything we needed for a relaxing experience. The hospitality was exceptional—whether it was answering our questions, helping with recommendations, or just checking in to ensure we were happy, they made us feel right at home. The meals were absolutely delicious—every dish was bursting with flavor and made with such care. It felt like a true culinary experience! The combination of exceptional hospitality and amazing food made this stay unforgettable. I can’t recommend this place enough and can’t wait to come back!

I really like the hospitality of the host and great service with very good food. I highly recommend to any one who is looking for a stay with all facilities and reasonable rate.

I was pleasantly surprised of the quality of services provided. Both hosts went above & beyond to make certain of my stay is comfortable and treated me like a family member. I felt at home but still have the privacy. Excellent value for money.

I could not find anything negative, except a little bit hard to find the location as the road is a laneway. However, the host Jaliya was always available to arrange transport, give directions or meet the guest on the main road to bring home on the first day.
