Tama View

Nice location with a lake view, close to shops, restaurants and laundry service. About a 15min walk from the ferry port Parapat-Samosir. It's a newer accommodation, with big rooms with a fan, TV, wardrobe and kettle. The bathroom is also quite spacious and even though there is no shower wall or curtain, the rest of the bathroom does not get wet during showers. The reception guy was friendly but his English was very limited. Possible to rent a scooter right at the hotel, good wi-fi. Breakfast included.

The location was excellent because it is near a café called Hub Tata, which is one of the best places I've ever found - to eat, drink, and for the views! Tama View homestay is clean, the bed is comfortable, and the shower is hot.

I had ants in my bed - but I appreciate that this is not something that can necessarily be helped. The breakfast is very basic and limited, so after the first night I didn't bother with it again and instead I ate breakfast at Hub Tata. The main/adult staff were often not around and I was left to liaise with teenage boys who didn't really seem to know what they were doing. Photos included are of Hub Tata.

good, and the food is good too.

The staffs were friendly and the rooms were simple and nice. although they only have two options for breakfast, i.e toast with egg and indonesian breakfast, the food were great. there are also some small restaurant nearby. we stayed a night and overall it was a pleasant stay.
