The Barrels at Leintwardine

Well laid out, plenty of room for parking and a nice big garden to let our dog run around. Beds were comfortable and a nice big shower with plenty of hot water. Only a minute walk to the convenient store and a lovely chip shop.

Nothing we didn’t like about the property, if we were being really picky settees could be a bit more comfortable as they were not very deep but that is being really picky.

The location was perfect for all local amenities. Lovely welcome basket on arrival with tea, coffee, milk and snacks

A beautiful barn, expertly converted by the welcoming owners who live in the house next door. I loved the patio and its table, looking over their gorgeous garden, complete with the remains of a Roman embankment! Well equipped - all that was needed for a comfortable stay. Comfy beds, lovely bathroom. What more to say, other than I'll definitely be back!

The Barrels in Leintwardine offers outstanding & unique self-catering accommodation in the heart of the stunning Shropshire countryside. Our host Andy & his wife made my brother and I feel very welcome and made our stay an excellent one. Their local knowledge helped us make the very best of our time in this beautiful county. We highly recommend the barrels, which is a converted pub re appointed to a very high standard whilst maintaining it's character! Lovely place to stay within a friendly village surrounding.
