The Barrels at Leintwardine

Wonderfully appointed with friendly, helpful and welcoming hosts. Dog friendly huge garden. Great balance with being communicative without being intrusive.

The house was lovely; clean and neat and very comfortable. There were lovely views over the garden and the house was in walking distance from the local shop and two nice pubs. The village of Leintwardine has a community feel to it and is very pretty with beautiful surrounding countryside, perfect for exploring and walking. Our hosts, Andy and Karen, were extremely friendly and accommodating.

The location was excellent, the village is a really lovely place and everyone was very friendly. The house has been renovated to a high standard and had everything you needed. The garden is beautiful.

It is in a brilliant location in a charming small town, and Andy and Karen are amazing hosts. It was a pleasure to stay there, and our daughter was excited to play with the host dogs! There is a small area with hens, perfect for children! The garden is so beautiful! We had dinner there every day. I believe I relaxed just looking around. Spotless, renovated, and warm house! Great kitchenware. It was very silent all day and night! Because there were no lights outside, we had a chance to take some great night photos of the Milky Way! Great parking place! If we decide to revisit this region, I would definitely stay there one more time!

The only thing worth mentioning is that the house has a small fridge. It's okay for two people and not too bad for three. We used to it even though my wife cooked dinner every day.

The owner was at home so gave us the keys and gave us a run down on what is available locally. And very friendly and helpful greeting

Extremely clean and cosy. Fabulous garden too. Everything you could need for a weekend away. Andy and Karen were wonderful hosts. They were very welcoming and helpful.

Lovely hospitality, very clean, comfy snd cosy cottage. Beautiful garden; All you need is there! Great starting point to explore Shropshire Hills. Highly recomended place.
