Stoodley View Shepherd Huts

Small touches - the birthday decorations, the fresh cream in the fridge for the brownies left for us on arrival. The availability of wood for the hot tub and fire pit, which is free, most lodges I've been to you have to pay. The silence. Although the owners made it lovely for us, they left us to it, I like the fact they weren't in our face all the time.

There was nothing we didn't like, it was all lovely. The only thing was the mattress on the bed was too hard for us and we had hip and back ache most nights. a mattress is very personal to each person though, so this is very hard to get right. others .ay find it very comfortable. it was clearly all good quality.

We had an amazing stay at Stoodley view. The location is perfect, really easy to get to and the huts are amazing. There are loads of nice touches and no expense has been spared. There was also great communication when we needed anything and the hot tub was brilliant.

Absolutely no expense has been spared in this accommodation. It truly is luxurious and the location is so picturesque. Neil has this down to a fine art. The instructions left for everything have clearly been done with so much effort and thought. A great little touch was the arrival brownies, safe to say they didn't last long. Being big I often struggle to sleep well when not in my own bed. I need to know the mattress I slept on as me and my partner have both never slept so well.. Would definitely come back here, just wish it was my home!
