Hill View

Exceptional location less than 5 minutes from the main attraction of Jodphur, the fort. Very clean hotel, homemade food available all day. But the best part is the warmth of the owner and all her family, who make you really feel like home. Definitely recommended.

Noisy at night

Don't look for any other place in Jodhpur and just come here. The biggest thing is. Their rooftop is unbeatable. They have the last house before the fort, meaning on the very last rooftop I laid watching the sunset and the fort being lit up with nothing between me and the fort, it felt majestic. The family that run the place is SUPER nice and makes you feel immediately welcome and at ease. Rooms are basic but clean and good value for money

My room had the bathroom without sink. A mirror and a dustbin in the room would have been nice

Good location. Very close to the Mehéranghatu fort as well to the city center. Beautiful view to the city. Friendly staff. Good food.

Perfect place in Jodhpur

STAFF: Very kind staff and the kitchen crew were also very nice. FOOD: food was super good always. Upon my request, they cooked my food without salt and made it non-spicy every time. Their shakshuka was delicious. Highly appreciated! ROOM SERVICE: After I caught a cold, the staff agreed to take my food to the room. At night this saved me from getting more sick from the cold. VIEW: The room and restaurant had a pristine view of the city. From the restaurant you could see the Fort. NEARBY ATTRACTIONS: 1) ACHAL NATH TEMPLE: for Shiva devotees, this is a perfect place to stay to go repeatedly to the Achal Nath Shiva Mandir. Jai Shankarji! 2) MEHRANGARGH FORT: within a 15 min. climb you're at the fort. It is visible from the restaurant. (After the museum and the first visit to the fort, on a different day I went to the gardens of the fort to read a book and practice Yoga.) 3) TOORJI KA JALHRA: this place with stairs and the water.is super close. 4) CLOCK TOWER AND MARKET are just down the hill.

SLANTED BED: the bed was simply horrendous. Sunken in the middle and the head was at a level lower than the feet so this traveler had to put his head by the footboard. The first night was barely tolerable before this adjustment. DRAFTY WINDOWS: this guest needed to seal the drafty windows with wet toilet paper and had to improvise a curtain. Ask for another blanket if you are there in winter or you might catch a cold. NOISE OF MOTORCYCLES AND KIDS: bring good earplugs or you won't sleep. Impossible to relax during the day as the engines accelerate outside your window going uphill. EXPOSED RESTAURANT: the open air restaurant was freezing at night. Food got cold after the second bite.
