Holiday Home Riva Promenade

The apartment was in a fabulous location. 20 minutes walk to Bacvice beach, 15 minutes to the ferry to travel to Hvar and Vis and 5 minutes into Split centre. Restaurants and cafes right outside the apartment although you couldn’t hear any noise as the windows are sound proof. There are also steps (about 200) that take you to a restaurant with amazing views over Split. The beds were the most comfortable I have ever slept in with luxurious linen. The views from both bedrooms were breathtaking. The bathroom and kitchen were small but have everything you need. This was made up for with ample space in both bedrooms and a sitting area in one of them. Air conditioning worked well. Communication with hosts was excellent. Replied to any questions within 20 minutes. A bottle of wine, beers and cokes in the fridge on arrival.

The staircase to the apartment could do with a rail for older guests and the light to stay on longer while you are letting yourself in at night. Request a second set of keys if you don’t plan on doing everything together.

Central area, close to the centre of split! Owner was very helpful and was willing to keep our bags until our flight. Comfortable spacious apartment for 4 people. Plenty of towels to make use for showering. Will return to Croatia with plans to stay here. Our host was 5/5 and left wine and beer for our arrival as well as coffee.

Could be cleaner, e.g. the rug wasn't vacuumed, the ledge in the shower was dirty.

Location for promenade and proximity to Old Town was excellent. The bedrooms in 2 bed unit were plenty big enough, with clothes storage and lovely views out of each weekend. Close to plenty of nearby restaurants.

Would have been even better if there were hand rails for the main sets of stairs and a bit more room in both kitchen and bathroom as both were quite small for 4 people, however all facilities met description. Iron framed beds were also quite squeaky and noisy, though generally comfortable.

Comfortable studio apartment with all necessary facilities, and a friendly host. Given the small size of the old town, everything is within 10 minutes walking distance.

It would be useful to have an electricity socket at the table (useful when spending time working with a laptop).

The location is excellent and within walking distance of the Promenade and old town.
