Cosy room

Ich habe die Unterkunft als erste Übernachtung nach der Fährfahrt (Harwich) genutzt. Ich hatte nicht erwartet, dass ich in einem kleineren Einfamilienhaus in einer Art "Kinderzimmer" untergebracht wurde. Man kann Küche und Wohnzimmer gemeinsam mit der Familie nutzen, wobei das eigentliche Zimmer recht klein ist. Für jemandem mit Kontaktwunsch ist das sicherlich ein Vorteil. Wer es eher privat mag, den könnte das Konzept stören. Der Preis lag im Mai 2026 bei 60 € und war angemessen.

Es wurde die falsche Hausnummer angegeben, so dass ich abends bei fremden Leuten angeschellt habe und mich entsprechend durchfragen musste. An der Unterkunft selbst ist die Zimmervermietung nicht erkennbar. Den genannten Parkplatz habe ich nicht gefunden. Das Frühstück muss man sich selber machen und dann einen Platz zum Verzehr auswählen. Da Besucher in der Küche waren, bin ich ins Wohnzimmer ausgewichen.

The owners were lovely and friendly The went away the weekend while we were there which was nice of them they didn’t have too we had a lovely stay there they took there dog somewhere cause we had ours there so that was nice of them to do that We had our own key

Not much to dislike but Just felt bit awkward with the neibours sleeping in the other rooms and using there stuff gutted that the hot tub was punctured

We weren’t given breakfast, nothing was left out for us to help ourselves. No one put in an appearance in the morning. We left unsupervised.

Needed more electric sockets, only one hidden behind bed head was available so had to pull bed out to reach it. Wife’s hearing aids commandeered that!

The family were really friendly and just let you get on with whatever you were doing. But we’re also happy to help if you needed anything

Dogs very loud, couldn't use kitchen without seeing dogs and one bit me.

They have took the batteries out of the to control so no tv not goog
