Vibrant Leith Flat

The kitchen was nice.

The hospitality was very bad. The accomodation is managed by a faceless company with grumpy employees that respond to your questions with automatic messages. They don’t answer your questions, never call back and treat you like a number. Quite frustrating considering the price you pay. Also, the shower was in bad shape and there was nothing in the appartment to charge your phone with (tourist adapters or USB sockets). The appartment is also very noisy, you can follow every conversation from the neighbours when in the bedroom.

I had a fantastic stay at this flat! It was clean, beautifully presented, and had everything I needed for a comfortable visit. The location is ideal, only about 20 minutes from the city center by bus, with two nearby bus stops making it incredibly convenient to get around. Despite being so well-connected, the flat is situated on a quiet and charming street, which made for a peaceful stay. The check-in process was smooth, and the host was communicative and helpful throughout. I highly recommend this place if you're visiting Edinburgh—getting around the city is a breeze!

The apartment is cosy and the check-in is smooth, and it's easy to get to the center of Edinburgh with the bus that is just outside the apartment. Great couch and kitchen area.

I was very disappointed by the "bathroom": it's just a very basic, camping-like shower in the corridor and then there are the toilets on the other side with a very small sink that has 2 faucets, one for cold and one for burning hot water. I wonder why this still exists in 2024 - it's impossible to wash your face without burning yourself and spilling water everywhere. I ended up using the kitchen's sink. I guess it's ok if you don't need to spend much time in the bathroom but for me it was really annoying. Also, the bed was very small and squeaky, not very comfortable. Leith is a nice town just outside of Edinburgh, but I feel like the part of Leith we were in wasn't the best. Overall, I feel like this apartment was overpriced for what it was.

Quiet place, Well equiped kitchen. All clean.

Cigarette smell in the whole appartememt upon arrival, difficult to stand for non-smokers. Small bed. Not enough place to position 2 pieces of luggage. The key locker must be pushed from both sides to open, unfortunately one side of it is very close to the door = not visible, not intuitive.

The kitchen area looked exactly like the gorgeous photos online and we loved having access to a fridge, stove and washing machine. The rest of the apartment was also visually appealing and the bathroom had plenty of storage space for toiletries.

The bathroom was split into 2 very small areas and floor space was another problem - we ended up laying our bags out in the only possble position and then having to jump over them for the rest of our stay. The bedroom was also cramped and the mattress more than just a little squeaky.
