GBVery clean, comfortable bed
The hotel has recently changed hands and it is obvious it was a super place to stay before. However we stayed in room 1 "Painted Lady" and there was no hot water at any time during the 3 days. When we spoke to the manager he was evasive and then just shrugged and said there wasn't enough hot water in the tank. No apology, let alone any effort to remedy the matter.

Very strong smell of cannabis, property next door had rubbish all over front. Police raiding property next door. Basically sandwiched between two awful places. No curtains in room, felt like the doors needed another lock on them too.
GBThe beds were comfortable.
The shower didn’t work and the windows were poor quality as the wind kept me awake all night which I have not experienced before. The finishes in the rooms looked botched, for example poly filler massively protruding in the bathroom and ragged curtains with holes in. Just not a lot of thought put into the room for guests enjoyment and comfort when they are charging over £100 a night. We have paid less the next night somewhere else and got better.
GBLoved the room, very clean and spacious. Shower was quite loud when on but very powerful and room had everything you need.
Single room didnt have a blind on window so lack of privacy in that room, Main double bed was very firm but that's personal preference. (Room 5 triple room)
GBSo homely. The little added extras like cereal for children, bottles of water & fresh milk whenever you needed it. The hosts are so friendly and nothing is too much. The kids even got a free toy each whilst we was waiting. Well worth the money.
