The garden and layout are nice.

The “breakfast” was okay but meagre: coffee and a small bowl of fruit and yogurt. Also I thought it very strange that there are no locks on the doors to the rooms.

The property was beautiful, very friendly and welcoming staff. They were super helpful with looking into various tours and means of transport for us. The property was always super clean. It had a lovely garden and patio to relax in.

The hotel is in an excellent location for travelers. You can easily reach the main plaza after a 10 minute walk. Restaurants and bars are also a short walk away. The hotel is clean, provides purified drinking water for guests, and has such charming decor. The manager, Antonio, truly goes above and beyond to be helpful and welcoming.

My only remark is that the breakfast was a bit light for my liking. What is served is delicious, fresh fruit with yogurt and bread with marmalade but I typically need a bit more to eat in the morning. They did say you can purchase eggs if you’d like.

Very peaceful and comfortable

Rooms are very nice, back yard is a nice bonus to relax in, the staff was fantastic and very helpful with all our needs. Breakfast was continental as described.

We stayed 4 nights and it would have been nice to have our room cleaned once. We didn't know you needed to put out a sign to have it cleaned and when we did, it still wasn't cleaned.

The staff were great, especially Alejandra. Location was good.

However there were just things missing. In the bathroom they had an all in one soap and shampoo and no conditioner. There was no water in our room, just a coffee pot with the sugar ect but filtered water in room. Would have to go to lobby to fill up water. Small thing but the shower head was just a simple one and not a wow hotel shower head. There were not the usual spread of towels, no hand towel and only one towel per person in room. Usually women use 2 if they have long hair ect. Only 2 pillows in room. No extra blankets for in case it got cold. No ceiling fan/any fan when it was hot. It just wasn't thoughtfull. The family room we were in wasnt private enough, had outdoor space but only a table and two chair for one of the room on that side to use at one time. Plugs aren't in convenient places. Doesn't have access to kitchen even though it ambiguously seemed there would be a fridge available to guest. So we had to ask every night for a refrigerated medicine to be brought out. No ice available. The curtains are ugly and you only have a choice to black out light and no sheet option for during the day to keep some privacy and let in light. No towels or lounge chairs to lay out in the lawn. One of our rooms did't have side tables for the beds, no dresser/closet to hang clothes. I dont want to say needed a feminine touch but it needed something.

Super location and super nice/kind and helpful staff. Especially welcoming manager Antonio. Walking distance to everything. Around the corner from the beautiful and cozy Andador Guadalupano for a nice stroll through the historic centre and the continuation to the Andador de Santo Domingo and the Mercado de Artesania. Strolling minutes from the hotel in other directions through the picturesque streets, lots to see and a visit to the Museum Na Bolom is a must, especially if you intend to visit the archeological sites (Palenque etc) as you will find a lot of history about the excavations here. Will definitely come back

Continental breakfast was less than basic but OK to start the day.
