The hotel is beautifully decorated and everyone that works there is kind and helpful. We felt very secure as you need a code to enter the building and they lock the larger door after 10 pm. Antonio helped us get tours, taxis and provided a map of the city. The hotel has plenty of hot water.

The breakfast was very light and the room was a little small, but it met our needs for a great price.

The hotel is very nice and cozy. We stayed in the apartment, which was way bigger than we expected and had an amazing porch and garden. The main street of San Cristóbal is easily walkable. Antonio is an amazing host. One of our best hotel experiences ever. Highly recommend it.

"Was a decently located budget hotel if you’re low on funds."

The staff were exceptional!

The hotel was somewhat in a state of disrepair. Things broken, kept having to ask for basics like toilet paper, hairdryer etc.

"Superb"

Beautiful place just a couple blocks from the city centre. Very comfy and quiet. The staff go out of their way to make you feel welcome and provide any help you might need. Very much appreciated was the possibility of an early check in after spending all night on a bus. Last but not least: drinking water and a kettle available at all times. And a lady will do your laundry 2 doors down. Why stay anywhere else?

"Hidden gem"

This is such a hidden gem and really exceeded our expectations - the staff were all wonderful and incredibly helpful and welcoming, plus the breakfasts are delicious. Very good value compared to other places we had looked at

We felt very good taken care of, lots of recommendations to do, you can also book tours at the reception. Room is small but comfy, the garden is really nice. Also the area is very walkable and safe from the city. Breakfast is nice (but the same everyday) We decided to extend our stay for two days as we liked it so much in San Chris and Ocho Barrios!

Shower curtains, but this is very minor
