The breakfast was really good

The food at the rooftop bar was very average. Plus they didn’t have any cold Bintangs.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Simfony Alor hotel. The staff were incredibly helpful and accommodating, contributing to a wonderful experience. The hotel's location, right in the heart of Kalabahi, was excellent, offering easy access to the area's attractions. While the breakfast options could be improved, I did appreciate the meals provided. One highlight of the hotel is its rooftop bar/restaurant, boasting a spectacular view of Kalabahi. It truly was a memorable experience. The room itself was spacious and comfortable, although I did notice a lack of TV channels. However, this was not a major concern for me. One area that could use improvement is the lighting in the toilet, as it felt rather dim. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Alor.

The room has good energy, it is spacious and clean. The staff of the restaurant is good. The shuttle to the airport was excellent, the driver was waiting on time and it was free of charge. Also when we left the hotel there was a free shuttle. the view across the balcony is good, but not direct to the beach or on the beach, it is a distance to the village and the ugly backyard or the hotel, with no greenery and dirty. It is not nice to see the view and take a picture with this view in front of the village. it is on the main street which makes it easy to walk .

They told us our room had no sea view as I expected, and I had to upgrade the room at an extra charge to their room standard with the view. They did not charge us till we left to check out from the hotel They told us the room was not the one booking.com booked for us. According to the receptionist in charge at that time. When we entered the room, there was no refrigerator in the room, and if we would like to have one we had to add an extra charge to upgrade our room to a family room with a refrigerator. Bookingsold the room to us for Rp.929,648 for 2 nights and we were upgraded according to them to Rp.1500.000 for 2 nights, which means Rp.750.000 per nite. There is no sea view written in this Superior DOUBLE room and at the bottom of the details is BeD SIZE (s) SINGLE 90-130 cm wide We were given a rented car with the driver who is the vendor of the hotel to go around without a fixed rate, and we had to bargain according to our knowledge of the distance we knew. A very strange experience was when we asked the driver to take a picture of the place we went he always took by his handphone instead though we insisted on taking it with our camera or handphone. Is annoying to ask him to transfer our pictures from his handphone without giving our mobile number and the pictures of 1 scene would be 20 to 30 photos pictures. He kept taking our pictures. We do not know what to do to stop him from taking our pictures since we do not know where we are. On this island, only our car is on the road. I did not report back to the receptionist (No-el) who gave and booked this driver for us, we used this private rental car for 2 days while we were in Bali. I wondered what he wanted to do with our photos were taken and was surprised it was in multiples of 10 in each shot, we became a celebrity or models.
