Stone Wall Cottage

The location was terrific for my purpose of a writing retreat. The cottage had everything anyone could ask for and more.

Beautiful surroundings, stunning cottage

Only staying for 1 night. Would love longer

Alexandra was an exceptional host. She looked after our every need. The property was located in a beautiful area surrounded by mountains. Alexandra has beautiful horses, dogs, goats, donkeys and chickens which we loved being with and feeding. We would definitely recommend this lovely cottage with a lovely host to anyone looking for a peaceful place to relax.

Full of character and very comfortable

The cottage was very comfortable and well appointed everything we needed for a few days away, the hosts were friendly and helpful ☺️

Emplacement parfait, pas loin de Newcastle, Tollymore forest park ainsi que des nombreuses randonnées comme celle de Donard. Le logement était spacieux, joliment décoré. A la ferme donc avec des animaux pour notre plus grand plaisir 😀. Facilité de se garer. Les draps et serviettes propre. Bon accueil, simple et rapide. Nous avons profité de cette fin de road trip pour nous reposer pleinement dans ce logement.

Il y avait pas mal de poussière au niveau du lit, et sur les murs côté lit, que nous avons nettoyé.

Lovely quiet property, hosts were very friendly and accommodating, cottage felt rural but was actually very accessible being just a few minutes drive from Newcastle and castlewellan.
