Guest house Mitaki

הכל הרגיש נקי וביתי ונעים. המארחת יודעת אנגלית והייתה מקסימה. באמת שאין לי דבר אחד רע להגיד

כלום. הכל היה פשוט מושלם.

This is definitely not your average hostel! The shared facilities were decent, you could use the laundry room for free. The owner is adorable, she is always around (if you cannot find her, she is probably in the restaurant next door working, love her food!) and she was so kind to help me with all my questions. They warned me for the renovations beforehand, but that was only during the day and it did not affect my stay that much. Definitely will be back when I am in the neighborhood!

It is quite a walk uphill from Mitaki station, but you can also take a bus from Hiroshima station (contact the property beforehand).

The hostess is friendly and helpful and cooked delicious meals for very reasonable cost. She clearly loves her place and her work and her guests. The gardens and koi pond are amazing. Sound of the river flowing through the property so soothing. It is a serene and enjoyable 45 min walk to downtown Hiroshima. The temple complex almost next door, with waterfalls cascading through -- do not miss this! In my fantasy life I would stay here for a month and go to the temple to meditate every day. I hope to realize this dream.

there was building going on in the guesthouse. It was not mentioned when we made the reservation. but the service was so good that we felt compansated for that :-) and next time I can enjoy the new made foorbath with onsen water.

주변풍경도 좋고 아주머니가 매우 친절하십니다. 세탁기 건조기 무료인 점 역시 좋았어요. 숙소에서 조금만 걸어가면 미타기절이 나오는데 아침에 자연속에서 힐링하기에 더할나위없이 좋았네요. 개인공간 확실하고 샤워부스도 제대로 독립형태로 있어 씻고 피로풀기에도 좋았습니다. 주인분이 간단한 식사도 제공하는 식당을 같이 운영하시는데 1500엔의 우동과 오니기리 세트가 정말 맛있어요. 도심에서 조금 벗어나 힐링하기에 안성맞춤입니다. 버스가 다니긴 하는데 늦은시간엔 역에서부터 꽤 걸어가야하기 때문에 이 점은 주의가 필요합니다..ㅋㅋ 편의점 없음.

De accommodatie was letterlijk perfect. Locatie lekker rustig en gelegen op wat hoger punt met daarachter een geweldig berg route met een prachtig uitzicht. De gastvrouw was lief, behulpzaam en kon ook nog eens goed koken! De kamer was gedeeld met vier persoon maar er waren er maar steeds twee wat ik persoonlijk fijn vond. De matrassen waren super dik en comfortabel. Genoeg privacy en de badkamers waren altijd onberispelijk schoon en verzorgd. Deze dame zet haar hele hebben en ziel in de plek en dat is overduidelijk te zien. Precies naast de accommodatie heeft zij een klein restaurant wat ze overdag runt waar je lekker kan genieten van Japanse klassiekers. De hele plek voelt alsof je bij een typisch Japans persoon in huis woont en dat is een ervaring op zich! Ik zou hier zeker terug komen voor de rust, de vriendelijkheid en de schoonheid van de omgeving!

Ik wou dat ik er was wanneer het voetenbad af zou zijn om het eind resultaat te zien !😅
